Viewing an album

Browsing through an album should be simple and straightforward, but if you are having problems hopefully these notes will help. If not, please click here and Email us your problems or queries - we will normally get back to you within 24 hours.

There are only 3 basic page types within an album:

Gallery or index page, containing thumbnail (small) images.

The gallery page is shown first, and you can navigate through the other gallery pages for a quick browse of all the images. From here, you can click on any of the thumbnails to see a larger version of the photograph - or you can click on 'slide-show' for an automatic display (more details below).

Individual photograph pages, each showing one photograph.

From each individual photograph page you can place orders for that photograph from the photographer. Just enter a quantity (e.g. 1) alongside the size that you would like. This is then stored until you have made all of your selections, when you click on 'check-out'.

If you change our mind about ordering any image, you can enter 0 (zero) over the top of any previously entered value.

Clicking 'check-out' displays the Order Confirmation page, for you to confirm any selections and enter your name and address details and preferred payment method.

Payment methods available will vary according to your photographer, but should be clearly stated.

Automatic (slide-show) or Manual

If you are in 'Manual' mode (where you start), you can use the navigation buttons to go forwards and backwards through the individual photographs.

If you choose 'Automatic' (slide-show), the pictures automatically change every few seconds.

At any time you can change from Manual to Automatic, and vice versa, by clicking the button at the bottom of the screen - the underline shows which mode you are currently in. It is recommended that you click into Manual before placing any orders (it does still work in Automatic, but you have limited time on each image).

In Automatic, you normally get 6 seconds between photographs. If you would like to make this longer or shorter, enter your preferred interval in the box here and press Go. Enter the value in milliseconds (e.g. for 5 seconds, enter 5000).
